To hear H.E. Björn Lyrvall discuss the EU business environment, immigration to Sweden and the EU, Swedish cooperation with the new U.S. Administration, and more, please join us for his presentation on “Swedish-American Trade & Business Ties and Transatlantic Relations” at a luncheon at the World Trade Center Denver on March 9, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. At the evening reception, welcome to join fellow guests from our Swedish network and mingle with H.E. Björn Lyrvall, while  enjoying a buffet style dinner and drinks.  The evening will include remarks by the Ambassador, words from Dr. Lotta Granholm-Bentley, and a presentation by New Belgium Brewing on craft brewing in Colorado and its export to Sweden. The number of tickets are limited. During his stay, the Ambassador will visit IKEA for a tour of their geothermal wells and solar panel facility. During the tour the participants are encouraged to share their in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise in renewable energy. On the agenda is also a visit to National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) to tour their Energy Systems Integration Facility, including the virtual lab. At a luncheon on March 10th, the Ambassador will meet with Boulder’s tech start-up community.
